NEW FINE ARTS CENTERAn Art Deco-style gymnasium was constructed on the campus of Martin Methodist in 1931. In the 1960's the facility began to be used for dances and other social events remembered fondly by many Martin Methodist alumni. The Martin 2010 plan calls for this historical building to be renovated as a fine arts center for the college and community. While the origional architecture will remain in tact, the interior will include a 121-seat recital hall, art gallery, art labs, classrooms, music library, multiple rehearsal rooms, and offices.
