Martin Methodist College, founded in 1870, is a liberal arts, four-year college related to the Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church.


Mission Statement

Martin Methodist College, as an institution of higher education related to the United Methodist Church has as its mission to:
 
1. provide undergraduate educational programs grounded in the liberal arts and sciences that are designed to 
    prepare students for future careers and lives of continued learning;
 
2. promote a diverse learning community that nurtures intellectual, spiritual, social and personal growth;
 
3. serve the region and church through educational, spiritual, social and personal growth and cultural programs.
