Education Research Guide

Education materials available at Warden Memorial Library are located in several places throughout the library.  The Teacher’s Resource Center contains curriculum materials, children’s textbooks, manipulatives, and educational software.  Juvenile fiction and non-fiction are located in the children’s room, while general works on education and educational theory are located in the main stacks.

Education Full Text:brings you comprehensive coverage of an international range of English-language periodicals, monographs and yearbooks. Full text of articles, with indexing cover to cover, from hundreds of journals, makes this a one-stop source for research. Coverage includes about 79 journals (37 with full text) not covered by ERIC’s CIJE.

ERIC: this is the world's largest source of education information, with more than 1 million abstracts of documents and journal articles on education research and practice.The AskERIC Virtual Library contains selected educational resources, including lesson plans.

Expanded Academic ASAP: part of the Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL), it provides access to scholarly journals, news magazines, and newspapers.

The library has numerous test preparation books on reserve covering all subject fields and grade levels. Please check at the circulation desk. All titles on reserve are searchable through the library’s computerized catalog or OPAC.
