BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN BIOLOGY


MISSIONS STATEMENT
The Biology major is a challenging program that addresses the rapid advances in molecular biology and biotechnology, which have added new and exciting methods to the scientific investigations of disease, water and air pollution, pest control and resource management. With a Biology degree, you will be prepared for graduate school or a career in health science, research or public service.
 
GOALS
Graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree program in Biology will:
  1. Be prepared to enter a graduate program in the biological sciences.
  2. Possess the scientific background to apply for entry level positions in research laboratories in the biological sciences.
  3. Gain an awareness of the complex issues of bioethics from a Judeo-Christian perspective.
