APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Applicants to Martin Methodist College who are citizens of a foreign country must complete the regular application form online.
The general procedure for international applicants is as follows:
Once you have your F-1 Visa, purchase an airline ticket to arrive in Nashville, Tennessee, several days prior to the beginning of classes.
Notify the International Student Adviser or your coach, if an athlete, of the details of your arrival.
Travel with all of your documents: your passport with F-1 Visa affixed, your SEVIS I-20 and the I-94 card you will be given on the airplane. All of those documents are important and necessary.
Transfer Students
F-1 students who are already studying in the United States must first apply to Martin Methodist College and be accepted. Provide the MMC International Student Adviser with copies of your passport, F-1 Visa, I-94 card, current SEVIS I-20 and your financial documents. The existing SEVIS I-20 record will be transferred from the former institution to Martin Methodist College. This is best accomplished through direct contact between the International Student Adviser at the former institution and the International Student Adviser at MMC.
