Affirming Communication Ministry in The United Methodist Church
Certification in Christian Communication is an affirmation by The United Methodist Church that a religion communicator has met standards for training in communications and is committed to making a Christian witness through the ministry of communications in a church-related position.
Certification is offered through a partnership of United Methodist Communications (the General Commission on Communication) and the United Methodist Association of Communicators, a professional organization. The Committee on Certification in Christian Communication, which includes representatives of both partners, administers the certification process.
