The Leadership Development Program is an on-campus initiative that specifically identifies recruits and trains future church leaders. It is a selective program and students must apply for participation. Approximately 5 students per class who have potential as church leaders (lay or professional) will be encouraged to apply. The program will provide special extracurricular training on leadership in a church setting. The program will include weekend seminars, retreats, local church experiences, internships, service opportunities, and on-campus fellowship. Participants in the Leadership Development Program will also participate in a “covenant discipleship” group as part of the program. The transcripts of students who complete four years in the Leadership Development Program will acknowledge their completion of the program.
