The week of July 2nd, Martin hosted the Missoula Children’s Theater, the largest national touring children’s theater. The theatre company, from Missoula, Montana, is renowned for their unparalleled ability to bring a quality musical theater experience to the world! They have over 30 teams who present over 1000 programs from Montana to Japan.
A Missoula team arrived with scenery, props, costumes, scripts and librettos – everything needed to put on a major musical theater production. Auditions were held the first day and students were assigned age appropriate roles according to their abilities.
The camp recruited over 60 area students. Roles are written for and assigned to a specific age range.
Next year's camp has been scheduled for the week of July 14th.
