GAME TIMING

All games will be limited to seven innings or fifty five minutes.

FLY RULE

  • In field fly rule is in effect for all games. (fly ball can not be caught and dropped to make a double play)

BASES

  • Leaving the base line is an automatic out.  (any motions to obstruct a fielder’s ability to make a throw will also result in an automatic out)
  • When a ball goes out of play, a runner will be given the base made plus one. A base is not considered made until it has been touched.

HOME RUN RULE

  • Each team is allowed 5 homeruns per game.  Any balls going over the fence will be an automatic out.
  • Ball bounced over the fence; ground rule double – batter goes to second base

FOUL BALL

  • A foul ball on the second strike will be a strikeout.

MERCY RULE

  • There will be a 15 run mercy rule in effect at the end of four complete innings and a 10 run mercy rule after five complete innings.

SLIDING RULE

  • There will be NO sliding allowed. All bases that slide away from the spot are still considered to be on the spot. If a runner was safe and the base slides away, the runner cannot be tagged out. If a runner approaches a base that has been  moved due to a previous play, that runner does not need to go out of his/her way to find the base. Runners only need to go into the area where the base would have been. This is a judgment call and cannot be appealed.
