The new Student Resource Center is available to all enrolled at Martin Methodist College to empower students for success. Assistance can be obtained at the Center for all academic needs and student related activities.The Center is located on the ground floor of the Bill and Rosemary Starnes Student Union Building. Its hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 10:00 am to 10:00 pm and Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Hours will be modified during semester exam week. The Center will not be open on days that classes are not in session.


The Student Resource Center contains two computer labs configured to support student learning. One lab contains fourteen (14) workstations as well as an instructional center to facilitate instruction, seminars, and various venues requiring technology as well as student academic related activities. The second lab contains ten (10) workstations in an individual coral arrangement which is capable of supporting individualized developmental instruction, and supplemental classroom instruction. Application software that supports faculty instruction is available to be installed. All computer workstations have internet access and the Microsoft Office 2003 suite and other application software deemed appropriate to support the endeavor of students. The Center contains ample space for students to work collaboratively on class projects or group study. The Center is an initial source for information regarding career and employment opportunities. The Center can also be utilized in a seminar style set-up which is thought to be helpful to students.

Coming soon is the addition of a Student Health Center
available for non-emergency health related matters.
