MMC IDOL will be making its way to campus on
Monday August 27th, 2007 at 6:30 pm and requires your participation.
We want you! Yes you!
Last year was a huge success.
Students came out to support all of the MMC Idols, who proved that Martin really does have talent.
Last Year we had 20 performances, which included duets, solos, and group acts as well. Each of the participants had a wonderful experience and campus really supported them 110%.

Thinking of Participating…
How you are judged.
- Vocal Performance – that you make the song your own (This is karaoke and you will have words and music provided)
- Dress and Style – dress in the attitude and style of the song and artist
- Stage Presence – How well you act the part on stage
- Overall Crowd Appeal – Crowd applause and comments
How you sign up.
You may sign up online today by e-mailing Tina McGill @ tmcgill@martinmethodist.edu and expressing your interest in participating.
How you pick your song.
Pick your song during Dinner on Saturday August 25th, 2007 and Sunday August 26th, 2007.
A table will be set up for you to sign up and pick your song. Come quick because 25 acts is the maximum amount we can have at this event.
If you want to bring your own music, that is fine, but remember this is a Methodist school and songs will be screened to ensure content quality.
Why participate?
PRIZES! Of course first prize will be cash $100-$150 dollars.
2nd prize will be cash $75-$100
3rd prize will be $50-$75
Everyone who participates will receive a gift for being involved.
