Founded in 1922 and member of the Association of National College Honor Societies, Alpha Chi’s objectives are to promote and to recognize superior scholarship and those elements of character which make scholarship effective for service. With more than 400 chapters, Alpha Chi inducts only those who fall in the top 10 percent of juniors, seniors, and graduate/professional students on each campus, representing all academic disciplines. Membership is the highest academic honor on campus.

With the conclusion of this induction ceremony, MMC has now inducted over 50 students since becoming home of this prestigious national honor society.
