    Dear Colleagues, Please note that, effective November 1, 2019, Martin Methodist College’s Title IX Coordinator will be Sarah Catherine Richardson. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal law that prohibits any sex discrimination in education. Sex discrimination includes sexual harassment and sexual assault. In her role as Title IX coordinator, Sarah Catherine will oversee the College’s centralized review, investigation, and resolution of reports of sexual assault, harassment, and gender-based discrimination. She will advise individuals about the courses of action available at the College, both informally and formally, and provide assistance to any College community member regarding appropriate responses to reports of sexual assault and harassment. She will also partner with colleagues across campus, providing leadership around Title IX issues and emphasizing both compliance and education as key priorities.
