Summer Youth Programs
Martin Methodist College is proud to offer organizations a place to hold summer camps and meetings.
This summer we are hosting conferences, athletic camps, children’s programs, and church groups. MMC offers a safe, comfortable environment within which to pursue the goals of your organization or group. We have a gymnasium, athletic fields, meeting spaces, and access to swimming and exercise equipment along with excellent food services. We also offer great overnight accommodations that include resident hall and apartment style rooms. We would love to host your next camp. If you are looking for a place to hold a meeting or to host a camp or program please consider Martin Methodist College. The friendly staff at MMC is dedicated to meeting the needs of visiting groups and will work hard to make sure your experience is satisfactory in every way.
Summer Youth Program
The Martin Methodist College (MMC) Summer Youth Program seeks to expose its participants to a variety of activities along with social growth, character and team building exercises. It is our intent to provide a broad and varied activity program to our participants.
AGES: 6 to 11 year old children
ACTIVITIES: Art, Theater, Recreational Sports, Science, Team Games, Outdoor Activities, Science, Swimming and so much more!
COST: The cost is $125 per camper per week.
Additional Costs: Early care is $50 per camper per week. Late care is $50 per camper per week.
8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Drop off and Morning Activities
8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Morning Sessions
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Lunch (campers will provide their own sack lunch)
12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Afternoon Sessions
4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Pick up
Early care (7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.) and late care (4:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.) will be available.

Our two week program is American Red Cross approved and unlike anything offered by other learn to swim programs. The program is designed for students to progress through the levels at their own pace, mastering the skills in one level before advancing to the next. Each level of swimming lessons includes training in basic water safety and helping others in an emergency, in addition to stroke development.

- June 19th–22nd, 26th-29th
- July 3rd, 5th-7th, 10th-13th
- July 17th-20th, 24th-27th
- Members: $60.00 per child for the 2 weeks (due one week prior to class)
- Non Members: $70.00 per child for the 2 weeks (due one week prior to class)
- Private Lesson Charge: $100 per child for the 2 weeks
- (Half due one week prior to class and the rest at time of first class)

SUMMER THEATRE CAMPS
ACTING CLASSES – stage movement, scene work, character sketches, improvisation, auditioning, ensemble work
WORKSHOPS – stage makeup, playwriting, storytelling, rap, masking-making, theatre history
PRODUCTION – casting, blocking, rehearsal, performance

SUMMER SPORTS CAMPS
This Soccer Day and Residential / Commuter Camp has top coaches from around the Southern United States. They are dedicated to the development of each individual, and will prepare you for the upcoming.

Softball Summer Skills Camp
Softball Coach Brandie Paul and her staff will be teaching the proper fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running. Pitching and catching instruction will be available to those interested. Offensive and defensive strategies will be taught as well as position play. Fun and participation will be stressed and required from each camper.
JUNE 5th – 8th
8:00 a.m. – 12 p.m. at MMC East Campus
Campers should bring a glove, bat, helmet, cleats, tennis shoes, and a water bottle.
Campers will receive a camp t-shirt.
Cost is $100 per camper (Includes t-shirt)

$75 per child
- June 26th & 27th for ages 5-10 years
- June 28th & 29th for ages 11 & up
- Camp cost is $50 for both days
- Each day camp will start at 8:30am and end at 12:00 noon
- The campers will receive a MMC camp t-shirt
Registration and waiver forms can be done online or at the day of camp
The only equipment required is cleats, glove and a bat if you have your own, also bring a pair of shoes in case we have to use the indoor facility for weather issues.
